This firm - Kings Windows & doors are doing the offer above as a limited special offer before xmas '05. Does this sound like a good deal ? Also has anyone used them ?

    This is very important. Personally, I would not have pvc doors as they are quite bulky.

    Im really thinking of making sure the heat is kept in, my house is almost all double-glazed except the front and side door. I need to replace/fix the front door as cold air seems to just pour in, though that might be more to do with the "seating"... :confused:

    £1000 is a lot for 2 doors supplied and fitted IMHO, considering they'll have cost the supplier no more than about £450 for the pair. £750 would be a fair price.

  • I had front and back white PVC doors fitted 5 years ago and it cost me £750. It all depends on the style of the doors I suppose, but £995 sounds OK at todays prices - but I'm no expert.
