Ok, hopefully you guys can keep me right on the proceedure. My daughters laptop has been using McAfee which has expired so instead of paying through the nose i've decided to replace it with AVG 8 which i have on my own desktop & does the job really well...
Here's my plan of attack...lol...
Download AVG on laptop - disconnect internet - go to programs & remove McAfee - install AVG - connect internet - update AVG - go!!!
I remember seeing on here about using a removal tool from McAfee to clean it all out can anyone point me in the right direction & where in the proceedure would i use it...?
Thanks......

Cheers for that... On the link it says to use program add/remove first & then go online to download the removal tool, would it be safer to download it first to cut out going online without protection....?What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0
