Gaming help - please PS2 to PS3

Have transferred PS2 menory cards to PS3 but they wont play from last save point, I have to start from scratch on all 25 of the games!
Anyone familiar with PS games and own a PS3 could be of some help, I am tearing my hair out GRR...................

have you assigned the memory card to a slot?

i think you press the ps button while in game and select either other options or memory cards ( i really cant remember, but its something like that and i havnt really played many ps2 games on my ps3)

edit:

scroll to the memory card utility (ps/ps2) > highlight the internal memory card > press triangle > assign slots > slot 1 then try again

Yes Gaming Guy I did assign slots and the data is showing on all games copied. But perhaps I should have copied and saved? I couldnt an option to save anywhere.It has all the info but not producing the goods.
Any ideas where to look for more info on this ?, I have now deleted the three memory cards from the PS3,PS3 mags I have checked them just tells you what to buy to transfer not how to do it, not very helpful.

ive never used the usb memory card adapter, so dont really know much about it.

this may help, otherwise i dont know why it wont work for you

Thanks for that Gaming Guy, I knew you would come up with something!
It would appear to be the Logic3 memory card adaptor I am using as I have done everything right according to instructions on the link you provided.
