DO NOT KNOW WHETHER ITV OR BBC, BUT THEY TALKED ABOUT LOWER GAS AND ELECTRICITY TARIFFS SPECIFICALLY AVAILABLE TO THOSE ON BENEFITS. APPARENTLY CALLED SOCIAL.....?SOMETHING AND THE ENERGY COMPANIES DO NOT ADVERTISE THEM, BUT THEY ARE AVAILABLE - JUST HARD TO FIND. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THEY ARE CALLED. TA:D

Every supplier has them, best to ring your own provider.
New rules came in today but seems to me a re-hash.
Roughly if your energy bills are 10% or more of your income you qualify for 20% discount. Terms and conditions apply.
The new insulation grants once the effect is felt in warmer homes and smaller bills could well work to disqualify borderline cases.0 -
