abode flash player HELP!

i have been trying to install abode flash player for ages now and i cant seem to get it. can anybody tell me if there is anther way to watch videos on facebook and bbc websites, it seems you need a flash player for everything!!!!!!!!!

How can you not get it?

Are you downloading it from Adobe?

if it tries to automatically install and it fails it gives you a link to click that takes you to www.adobe.com to manually install it.

Prob a silly question but have you restarted your browser since it downloaded?

yes but it doesnt seem to set up i tried the help pages on abode but they dont help and sometimes it says that active x is stopping it working and they said i needed it!

So have you tried both the automatic and the manual download?

And if you have done the manual download, you have double clicked the download to run the setup?

sorry for what seem numpty questions, its just to rule out the obvious first.

not sure if anyone still checking it out i do appreciate all the advice but unfortunatley i'm the numpty....for some reason it was disabled in the add-on-menu:o
