ozanan, i would love to hear how you made progress with your strong prey drive boy bill & your cat. we have a cat as well & both my dogs have strong prey drives. our solution so far has been a baby-gate splitting the house in 2: cat gets one half, dogs get the other!0

Go for it!!!!!
We've been fostering a greyhound for a couple of weeks now.....never had one before...but he's certainly changed my view on dogs generally....most dogs we've had contact with are bouncy and a royal pain....but not our foster greyhound..
He's happy to sleep most of the day, we give him generally 2-3 walks per day on average...but he really only needs 1 or 2 20 minute walks. He's the most loving and placid dog, and fantastic with the children (under 7), Our 3 year old can happily walk past him and give fuss, knowing that he won't jump up at him. Although all greyhounds are different, our foster is good with cats. He's a real affectionate boy, who loves his tummy rubs and if you stop giving fuss he'll pop his paw on your knee, bless him, he's so gentle.0
