So, purchases aside, I would pay interest on the £42 BT fee at 15.9%? Presumably the only way to overcome that is to pay off the whole card balance? Which of course they know full well no-one is going to do, else they would have just done that on the old card rather than transferring it over in the first place.0

Yep I'm afraid so, they are going to make something somewhere whatever you do.
I think you are making the right decision just accepting the interest on the £100 and the BT fee. It is still a lot less than paying a standard Credit Card variable rate.0 -
Does anyone know if I can balance transfer a Halifax cc onto the Lloyds (12 months 0% card) - not sure I can due to the takeover?
Also am I right in thinking that on a 7k transfer I would pay £210 fee plus around £50 interest on the fee plus the £100 purchase requirement ?
Many thanks!0 -
With the LTSB card, is is possible to spend the £100, repay it and then BT, all within the 6 week timescale for 0% BTs? Just a thought, but it looks a bit tight to me. It would avoid interest on the £100 if it worked.0

Right, I have found out that I can transfer from Halifax but could anyone help me with the maths on the 2nd question?
Thanks!0
