75% off summer stuff at Wilkinsons

I have just got back from wilkinsons and some items in the summer sale are now 75% off.

I got a metal Parsol base £2.50 and a set of 4 wooden directors chair and table for £12.50 was £50. They are not brilliant but for £12.50 even if it only lasts one year better than nothing.

Hello kitty stuff for the car is now 75% off. Got a hello kitty non-slip dash mat for 75p was £2.99. They had tax holders and soft toys and sun shades all 75% off.

I got some freezer blocks pack of two for 21p. A compass for 37p and camping cutlery set that all fits together for for 37p a pack great as little stocking fillers.

Did not buy but saw polka dot plastic glasses 25p.

I also got a salt and pepper grinder (tap style top) in a plastic box, was meant to be £7.99, was actually £2.00. This was in Farnborough. There was no sign or anything about this.

Gloucester has mostly garden stuff in the 75% off sale. Lots of nice outdoor candle sets very cheap but they've put those after the checkouts, strangely, rather than on the sale shelves. Also managed to get some giant bubble blower 'wands' for 25p each - great xmas stocking fillers.

Have just come back from Bedford store with 2 'In the night garden' whelbarrow sets include wheelbarrow, various charachter plane pots, apron ,gloves, trowel and fork and seeds £20 down to £5 perfect for little ones. There were 3 or 4 left but check them as not all were complete. Also had 'ITNG' spray pools for £3 instead of £12 and masses of normal pools...I know its not the weather but at thase sort of prices worth putting away for next year.
Also had 25% of most of thier books including 'Gold star' and usborne books

I got a garden swinging seat at Wilkinson 4 years ago for £39. It lasted with being left out year round and swung on all summer for 4 years- well worth it, and when I came to buy another one and Wilkos had none I got one in Woolies that was dearer but is no better.

We love going to Wilkinsons when we go to Hampshire to see family, unfortunately we dont have one near us down here in Devon :cool:. I will have too send a shopping list up the line!!!:D

I went to Acocks Green in Birmingham and bought a barbecue for £3.50 normally £13 and a wooden parasol normally £15 for £3.75 some great offers:T
