The index.dat files remain after history has been erased

Super Winspy has an index.dat viewer

You can view them without that but it puts them in a nice easy to view format

But good privacy programs will have deleted index.dat (e.g. ccleaner)

Take out the hard drive and see if the websites are visible
under a magnifying glass......
