Hi, apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, the kid's video recorder expired last nite (kinda ironic, the day that dixons say they will discontinue...).    anyway are there any basic vhs recorders in the argos giveaway, does anyone have one reserved or bought that's unwanted and i could either pick up or buy off you?     basic is fine, i suppose nicam would be a bare minimum basic though.......   london area please.   if not via argos, anyone care to suggest who else might be knocking them out cheap?     already got dvd recorder (thanks sainsbury's thread) so dvd combo bargains are no particular use........   thanks

had to laugh, aliasojo, cos i thought there were none too then remembered i had seen one way down the list ( checking through one whilst i was bored and the thread was quiet) and thought i'll just get the code........lo and behold there were more!!!!
so hope something is available.

Also Dixon's is pulling all vcr's so there may be a bargain to pick up there!

Bum! I've just bought this drill/hoover on Sunday and there was no mention of half price kit.  :-/

Take it back, get a refund, then buy it again immediately at the reduced price.

32 days and it will all be over and then we can start stocking up for next christmas.

I have checked all my local stores (Berks) RnR for the Sony CD Radio, but none available - but I will be popping to town tomorrow so will have a look for you all then - perhaps its a reserve in store only item.

Do you think that it may be a wind up? Although still a 'newbie' myself, I have been an observer for a year now - didn't dare make a post until a week ago. Just feel that finally after all the great deals I have had as a result of this site, its now payback time. Still don't feel 'worthy' though!!!!
