Heads up everyone....the Sony 5 megapixel camera that was reduced to £70 in the Argos RO sale is on Empirestores thread (mad 65% sale) and comes up at £81.20 at the checkout.

Still in stock... but selling fast. I know several Argosites missed this and were desperate for it.

Where did you get this link from? When I search for the part number FG4363 (the one your link points to) I get the bargain price, but If I search for the DSC-P32 on Empire I get £179.00 as the price.

So I just wondered how you came across this link?

It's such a good price I have purchased 5 for family members who have yet to join the digital revolution!!

Argos may be cleared out, but if you are quick there's another clearance sale - this one doesn't involve trawling the stores either. There's a whole thread

Sorry - in my haste to post the Empire link earlier I forgot to introduce myself.

I think I'm the Most Failed Argos Hunter. :-[

I happened to be in out local store early on in the sale and had my hands on a digital camcorder, but chickened out because I thought there must be some thing wrong at that price. 'Course when I went back an hour later (having researched on-line) it had gone.

Did I trawl other stores? Nope, 'cos I thought the price must have been an aberation. Several days later - having found this thread - I realised it wasn't a mistake and started looking in earnest. No camcorders around, and our local Argos lady assured me that it was just a clear out of shop stock so there wouldn't be any more. So I stopped reading the thread!! Big Mistake!

Anyway I came back to it after reading the money-tips mention in mid-November, but have stayed quiet until now 'cos I felt such an idiot. Finally felt I had something to offer - hence earlier post.

Don't be discouraged by Heavy Traffic problems on the Empire site, just keep retrying. Main problem being envisaged is the web site may be selling stuff that is out of stock but it doesn't know it.
