I want to do a complete bathroom renovation, new suite, tiles, flooring, painting, radiator, bathroom furniture etc etc
I've sourced all the above items myself, and have had 4 quotes for the labour + plumbing parts to rip out old/fit new suite, take off old tiles/put on new tiles, install new radiator, flooring etc etc
Size of bathroom is approx 2m*2.25m
To remove existing wall tiles
To remove and disconnect existing bathroom suite
To make good walls
To remove flooring
Remove all rubbish
To fit new Sink and Toilet
To fit new housing cabinets for toilet & sink
To fit new bath panel and bath
To re-tile bathroom walls as existing
To fit shower screen
To tile floor
To add any fixtures and fittings required
To paint walls, door and frame
Quotes so far:
£2800 - 2 people - 2 weeks
£2500 - 2 people - 2 weeks
£1500 - 3 people - 1 week
£800 - 1 person - 1 week
Which is the most realistic quote for the West Midlands??
Thanks

Personally if it was me i would be taking 2 weeks and charging around the £1750-£2000 mark and i work around Shropshire.
If you break each part to be done down then realistically I think someone would struggle to do it in 1 week tbh. Obviously some parts may take less time or longer depending on the job.
1 day removing old suite and tiles
2 days plumbing and build cabinet
2-3 days prepping and tiling walls approx (could be more depending on tiles and walls etc)
1-2 days tiling floor and grouting
1 day for bath panel, refiting rad, shower screen
Then 1-2 days painting depnding on the number of coats needed.0 -
We are in the South East and to do basically exactly the same but no painting our fitter charged £1650. He was on his own, it's difficult to judge how long it took as he did our ensuite, cloakroom and work on the kitchen at the same time but I think it was less than three weeks for all 4 rooms. The other quotes were for several people working and were practically double.0
