Tesco CC to collect Clubcard points

Hi,

We have a Tesco CC which we use to pay for everything in the month and then pay off the balance when the statement comes in.

We've done this for yonks - it was basically to accrue clubcard points (when they had deals worth collecting for!!)

What I want to ask is, is it as well to collect clubcard points or change to another cc that maybe pays a cash amount for your spends?

Any advice would be appreciated. As I said, we always pay off this cc every month so there isn't any interest paid at all.

Looking forward to your replies,

Regards Jan

  • If you have had it for ages you probably get 1 Clubcard point per £2 spent. This is equivalent to 0.5% cashback (or 2% cashback if you use the points for deals).

If you compare that with other cashback credit cards you can see which is better.
