help malfuctioning display on laptop

downloaded google chrome ,could not use applications on facebook ,so uninstalled google chrome,ever since display screen has lines shadows ,changes colour ,green square round cursor.please help new to computers.

I'd spoken to OP and he had tried system restore to a month back but it made no difference. I can't help, but recommended he ask you excellent people. Help if you can :beer:

It's either the graphics card drivers, or the graphics card hardware. I think the google chrome thing might just be a coincidence, unless it decided to meddle with your drivers and settings.

This tells you how to update graphics drivers.

If that doesn't sort it you might have an overheating issue, or your graphics card might be fried or partially fried.

If it's a desktop system, get the case off and check for dust around the fans.

If it's a laptop, get it back if it's within warranty.
