468 quid cashback from Amex Platinum!!!

Yippee!
I was expecting a bit of a row with Amex over cashback because their website shows it building at a rate of 1% through the year. So I was sure they were going to credit me the lesser amount of about 280 quid.
Imagine my delight at getting 468 squid off the bill!
Anyone blagged more than that? Including Accucard and Nationwide, I shall be raking in well over 500 quid this way this year.
Incidentally, does anyone understand the maths behind the 4% double cashback deal for 3 months that they ran this time last year?
