Hi,
About 3 months ago I switched onto Scottish Powers Online Fixed 2009 tariff with prices fixed until August 2009.
As we have economy storage heaters we are currently paying £136 pm for both G&E on monthly budget plan.
However, we have now decided to change to GCH. So whereas before the only Gas usage was hot water (multipoint boiler) and a gas fire, we will now reduce our elec costs massively (hopefully
) as our heating will be gas.
My question is: Should I look at changing my tariff from their Economy 7 tariff as my daily rate is high, or will the recent price rises mean that my 'high' daily rate for elec will still be cheaper than the current 'cheaper' elec prices on non-economy 7 tariffs?
Also, If I try using Uswitch for comparison, it doesn't allow me to state that I am ON economy 7 but wish to come OFF it....So I don't know how I can acurrately compare my needs
Thanks
