BT-Can I transfer more than I owe???

Hi All,

Just a quick ? for you?

I have a tesco cc which is at the end of its 0% period. I havebeen accepted for another card at 0% for 10 months. I only owe £960 on the tesco card but amwondering if can transfer say £1500 onto the new one thus going into credit with tesco and earning points when I then spend the credit???

Yes, you can transfer more than you owe but, AFAIK, you will not earn any points until your account is in debt again.

I don't have this card and am not 100% sure, but I think this is incorrect ...
