SAve £600! Save your allow wheels! BUY NEW LOCKING WHEEL NUTS
I have posted this here because it is an urgent money saver
The numbers... Each alloy wheel £100 *4= £400
They get stolen £100 *4= £400
Tyres 60 *4= £240
Total £640!
Locking wheel nuts £32 per set
Saving £600!
1) Spend £30 and put another set of locking wheel nuts on but NOT from the same make as your car!
My dad recently had to make a claim on my insurance, some delightful person took all four wheel on my car, a claasic dell boy moment of the car on bricks, sadly they didnt balcance them so it fell on the front too. They did leave the standard ford locking wheel nuts on the floor though! Bill ended up being £2000-ouch, there goes my no claims discount and heres the crunch....
That my story as to the locking wheel nuts...I now have three sets on there, all car manufacturers give you standard ones, the standard ones that come with the cars only have a certain number of keys, the thiefs break into other cars and take them out of the glove box where you left them thinking i really should put them somewhere safer. They do this a few times and have the set. He has have McGuard on there too now.
