Nobody's mentioned the interest received on the money I don't think - if all tickets are sold evenly between now and 01/01/09 then the interest at 4.5% would be over £7500 - another nice bonus!0

Rate of sales has fallen right off - they've sold 458 tickets in the last 21 days (21 per day), versus a few thousand in the first few days.
They've sold 8980 tickets (19.5% of the total) in 50 days. The projected total time to sell all has now risen to 257 days.
The chances of a draw on New Year's Day 2009 are slim.Happy chappy0
