Can anyone recommend a vacuum cleaner! Have always had miele's in the past but when my last one broke i bought a cheapo from Tesco and it broke in about two seconds flat...i have just had a look at the new dyson ball but its £239:eek: in argos, are they worth the money!

Dysons are excellent uprights. As cylinders I find them to be heavy and crap.

My mother has a miele - the entire carpet rises when she hoovers. It's very good as far as that's concerned.

Dysons are always on special *somewhere*.

I always enjoy exercising but it's doing it efficiently and with minimum disruption to household that i find hardest....

i was struggling to fit a run in midweek with runchum as we both live in small villages where there is little street light and any run over half a mile takes you onto B road's and you need daylight for that...... so this runclub meets in the town where i work at half six 2 nights a week, for £1.50 a week.. so i can get at least one good run in safely... plus i will develop more within a club as progress is halted and am static at 2 miles at the moment.

Sounds good. I'm more of a solo runner though. I do it to get away as much as for the fitness aspect

    Good morning

I've been with Wayne to A&E returns clinic this morning - they've repacked and dressed his leg and he's to go back on Monday for it to be done again...

I'm going swimming again tonight. I managed to do 12 x 25m lengths the first time and 16 lengths on Monday so I'm hoping to get up to 20 this week. My aim is to build up in 4s so that I can do about 60 (I could manage 100 lengths when I swam regularly before but think in my present condition 60 is more realistic. I'mdetermined to build up my fitness levels.

Work are starting to get squiffy about my overtime bill. I have 150 hours accrued after the exam and I was going to take it back a bit each week whilst doing a course but the course isn't going ahead so I asked them to pay me 115 hours overtime and I'll use the other 35 hours to attend antenatal apopintments etc.
