I would suggest that you contact your credit card and start a charge back.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

If the item was over £100 and was paid with a credit card (not a debit card) you will be covered by your credit card company. You will need to make a claim from them.
They can't do a 'charge back' because the company has gone bust, but they are jointly liable and will refund you themselves.
Good luck.
R.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

When SplashDVD went into liquidation I successfully charged back with my credit card AND debit card. On the credit card the amount was £40 and on the debit card the amount was £120. It does depend which bank your debit card is held with and if it is a Visa debit or a Switch/Maestro. If it’s the latter then you have next to no chance of getting anything back but with a Visa debit there is a chance.
Doing a chargeback is relatively easy, call your card company and ask to be put through to the Visa disputes department and claim a chargeback for non-delivery of goods. They should send you a form which you fill in, include any evidence backing up your case i.e. e-mails etc, sign and date it and for me, the money was back in credit card account within 2 weeks, my bank account where I had my debit card it is was back within 3 working days.
Hope that helps!0 -
I pre-ordered the X-Box 360 with Currys and think it pretty shoddy that you were charged back in September. I pre-ordered on 28th September and still haven't been charged (although I am aware that they have done something through Sainsbury's Bank Secure in relation to the transaction).
This company knew what they were doing in my opinion. They knew damn well they'd had it and I think going down the pan now was their way of avoiding a big headache when the "where's my X-Box 360?" questions start on 2nd December.
As has been said, you'll get your money back. There is a big hit here for the lenders, with the console at £279 a time. The pack I'm getting is £327.
I remember the company from when I was a bit younger and alarm bells rang then, basically because of the style of the company. It doesn't surprise me to be honest.
All that remains to be seen is whether those that pre-ordered with them can get hold of the console on release (if you believe the talk of shortages etc).
Good luck in getting one and make sure you press your card company hard as it's a lot of money to be waiting for.0 -
I remember buying stuff for the Atari ST from this company when it was a games club and you had to be a member. They were very cheap in those days. It looks like internet competition has killed them.

I also purchased two games from them, one I received but the other one I am still waiting for this was on sept 16,I phoned them last week to see where it was and I was told the company did not have a release date yet,I have double checked my statements but I dont appear to of been charged for any of the games, they must think I have paid for them because I received two liquidation letters.Thank you for all your replys.0
