Outnow.com Dvd Rental Problems Advice Needed

Hello,
I will start at the being i saw a offer for £12 cashback for MMS on quidco when you take out a free trial which also included to cinema tickets so i thought hey £24 worth of freebies not bad at all.
But i went on holiday and didn't want them taking money out of my account when i'm over seas so i paused my account. (bad idea). Got back and fogot that i had a account with them. Then about 3 weeks after i receive a dvd through the post. I rember that i signed up, loged on and could see that my account was active but no sign of when my next payment date was. As both lovefilm and blockbuster show on there sites.
Out of the blue i think over the weekend £15 goes missing from my bank account. I try ringing as i really wanted to cancel as i had only recieved about 2 dvds in my trial and thought there service was rubbish. Then there some lady saying sorry we don't do refunds.
Is it legal for them to charge money with out any notice at all?
Any help would be great.
