Does Amex Platinum Charge Card have protection like the CC Section 75?

I have become a bit worried about the safety of my payments... I've always been all happy with my card, I have maybe been too happy... I felt all safe that any problem will be solved my Amex... (so far has)...

But after reading about this I am getting a bit worried. I know CC Section 75 is not covered on the charge card. But does Amex has a similar cover?

For section 75 to apply, certain conditions must be met. Most credit card purchases will be covered, but:

* the cash price of the goods or services must be more than £100 and not more than £30,000; and
* purchases are not covered if they are made by debit cards or by charge cards (where the monthly bill has to be settled in full).

Note that settling an Amex credit card (like the Platinum CC) in full every month does not make it a charge card. There may be some confusion here because Amex do a Platinum Charge Card as well.
