Egg Money & Egg Card 9% Borrowing card trick

Hi,

I've been reading the artice on the 0% card trick for borrowing
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/Interest-free-short-term-loans#cash

I have an Egg Card (not an Egg Money card as in article)

Can I use this card to transfer onto and move cash to a bank account like the egg money card is used??

THanks,
Peter

There are 2 problems with using the Egg Card (or any other Super Balance Transfer card) rather than the Egg Money Card :

    (a) Egg Money is the only card designed to carry a positive balance. The straight Egg card may look unfavourably on a significant positive balance and return the funds to their source or even freeze your account.

    (b) Egg will probably charge you a fee to move the funds to your Bank Account whereas Egg Money will not provided you don't let the balance go negative.

    Hope this helps.
