anyone know anything about this kind of thing? flipping teenage brats have been fighting and ended up smashing the glass in the front door. The inside pane will need replacing and the outer one has some minor chips so not sure if that will need to be replaced or not.
can they be replaced anyone had one done and know the rough cost? it is half the front door size...also would it be easier to maybe replace the door? and does anyone know about that lol...it has a whole frame etc is it as easy as measuring it going to diy store buying one and unscrewing old and replacing new or is it never that easy lol
these windows have horrid white plastic leading...always looked a bit too much in between the sealed units, was here when we moved in, is it ever possible to remove this or not?
many thanks

Fairly easy and definately cheaper to replace glass in door, best bet would be to look for local double glazing repair company and get a quote, bottom pane less than a hundred quid, top pane probably just over a hundred quid, if it's a full pane door between 120 - 180 depends on the company, ask them to look at your windows at the same time, can't take lead out from in between but should be able to fit new units with glass of your choice for fairly cheap price, especially if you do the door at the same time, one trip all done at once best for them and for you0
