Memory help

Hello

Could somebody help me please, I have a 9 month old lap top with a hard drive off 144 gb and it says hat I only have 53 gb left, I just cant see what i have used 99gb on, I have i tunes ,photos etc but is there anyway I can check to see what is using all the space.

I will say that i did try and back up the other night and i wonder if i have done something?

oh dear, try running disk clean up (start/all programs/accessories/system tools/)
empty recycle bin, see if that helps
If not you have possibly backed up to the same hdd, not a good idea what backup software did you use?

Thanks for you help well I have found some gb and am now back up to 88gb free , some of my documents music photos were duplicated not sure how I have done that but at least I have found some of it.


Think it was something to to do with the back up !!
