Cordless phone problem

having probs with cordless phones. Have already taken set back and probs with another brand. Currently have BT quad pack. Loads of interference both on outgoing and incoming calls. Very irritating tryin to have conversation. Have wireless router. don't know if this has anything to do with it. Have filters fitted. any advice appreciated. thanks in advance.

Have you tried a fixed phone on your line? It might be your connection thats faulty. Also is your cordless Analog or Digital(aka DECT)? DECT phones dont suffer from interferce as much as older analog cordless phones.

If you have DSL broadband (e.g. connected through your phone line) make sure you have a filter installed on all you phone sockets which have something connected (Phones, Faxes, Broadband Modem/Router, Sky Box)

If you have done so yet try switching everything off in your house then try your phone, if its free from interference turn each appliance on one at a time checking your phone each time. Time consuming but if it is something in your house this should help you identify it.
