Yorkshire Game Angling

  My boyfriend bought a fishing outift - fishing kit with rod, reel, lines, flies bag
It was advised as £94 and that is what the receiot they sent him by email said
They took £109 out of his account - he emailed them asking them why they took the extra money but didnt get a reply so he phoned them
They said it should have been £100 as there is a extra £6 insurance charge when they send out rods
No where on the sight does it say this and they couldnt explain it - he said that he wants the £15 back and they said they will give hime £6
Now kit came today and it is itemsied and no where on it does it has any insurance
I think a mistake has been made and they havent discouted something off there
Trading standards are going to contact them tommorow about it
How hard is it for them to look at the website and the reciept they have sent online and go yes we made a mistake

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

But VAT would have taken the total to £110.45, so that doesn't add up either.

No direct debit card trading standards called them and explained what my boyfriend had said - he also thought that the price difference was because they had only part taken off the cost of a bag instead of the full bag which would have totalled the individual receipt to £94

They said that the person on the phone the other day had been confused and that there was a £6 charge for delivery for telephone orders but not online orders - he ordered online

They are refunding him the £15

They also hadnt sent out some packs of monotech which were included in the pack and they are supposed to be sending them out so we will have to wait and see
