anyone starting the health and social care course on ou

Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, please move if its wrong.

I am going to be starting a cirtificate in health and social care course (k100) on the open university, I was wondering if anyone is startin it aswell, just then thought that we would have a "study buddy" to help each other if we need help and whatnot. I know they have online help but it is always good to have someone there who is also doing the course. Mine starts in febuary.
Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching
Save the cheerleader, save the world!

Hi, i'm doing it right now. I started in October so will be too late for buddies cause we'll be on different parts of the course.

I can tell you though that once you start the course download "first class" from their website (instead of using the online version)

Then you can go into K100 in their study rooms where you'll find loads of people around the country participating in live chats. Everyone seems helpful and you can get loads of tips.

The course seems really good and the only thing I can advise is make sure you go to lectures, our lecturer basically tells us everything we need to know for writing the essays.

Hope this helps, good luck and i hope you enjoy it

I did it in 2001. It's a really good course, and if you're interested in the subject you'll get a lot out of it

I decided the subject wasn't for me (I'm about to complete my BSc (Hons) Physical Science) but that is no reflection on the course - I have no regrets about doing it.

Make the most of the tutorials, and have fun (too many people forget to do that!)
