Bathroom Supplies Online

I have never done this before but feel compelled to as the service I received from bathroom supplies online was of the highest standard.
I spent 3 years with hip problems, unable to use my bath and having to go to my daughters to shower.
I had answered adverts in the newspaper for walk-in baths these suppliers sent salesmen around which was high pressure and very intimidating for myself. I decided with the help of my daughter to search the internet. I came across the website https://www.bathroomsuppliesonline.com and found it most informative.
When I telephone with one or two queries I spoke to a most helpful gentleman who answered my queries with authority and gave me excellent advice regarding delivery and fitting.
I was told that delivery would be three weeks, I was most pleased after only a week I had a phone call from a young chap within the office to arrange a delivery, when I asked if I would need to stay in all day, I was pleasantly surprised that it would be delivered at 1pm on the coming Thursday with the company’s own transport.
When the transport arrived it was also surprising to not see some young arrogant delivery driver unwilling to help, but an older polite gentleman who didn't just wanted to deliver my bath but had a nice long chat (He was rewarded with a cup of tea and bacon sandwich for his efforts.)
Although Bathroom Supplies Online did not fit the bath as I was informed it was outside of their area they did help me along with finding a local installer and gave advice on how much it should cost.
I feel as though this company needs credit for the great service they provide. It was a refreshing change to talk to people who had my interests at hand and not just their own sales commission.

This is a great post. :T
I too had a very similar situation to yourself therefore, I had a look at the site however, after looking around at www.bathroomsuppliesonline.com I couldn't find any walk in showers.
One thing I did notice was that the prices were inclusive of VAT, so I had no way of checking that the site has in fact reduced their VAT.
I have since found that price on price and customer service, the best site online supplier for disability bathroom products was in fact here: http://www.heatandplumb.com/acatalog/Impey_Disabled_Showering.html
Not only does it very clearly tell me that they have reduced the VAT costs inline with the new regulations, but they also offer a great deal of other products such as the 'grab rails' which was perfect for me, and others in our situation I would have thought.
I am just about to purchase from this site so I will come back and comment on the delivery service for future 'walk in bath/shower' shoppers.0 -
I forgot to mention, they also have a price match guarantee .. http://www.heatandplumb.com/acatalog/price_match_guarantee.html :-)0

Wow... I am going to ask for a job there and hope I get to deliver to you
I use www.ukbathroomstore.co.uk at the moment but your supplier does look really good to be fair. The main reason for me using UKB is because a friend works there but I have also noticed that they seem to be able to do Mira cheaper than anywhere which is great for me cause that is what I always get for my customers.
I may get my Kitchen products from there though after your recommendation cause UKB don't do them
Thanks for your help :T0 -
I posted about this firm on this board on 24/4/08 - they were FAB! I was well impressed with their service.
I can find it OK but I can't copy it to here.:o0 -
