Hello all
I am seriously considering buying this unit from Maplin.
I am about to go to Canada for a three week holiday and thought such a device would be useful to make use of hotel internet connections rather than hunting down internet cafes.
I need some advice regarding differing voltages. Would I be OK to use the power supply (110v) with a plug adaptor to charge the device? If it works it realise it would take longer.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks in advance.
Janet

For similar (some retailers less!) money, you'd be much better off with a Asus Eee PC.0

Thanks for your quick reply! I am now looking at the Eee PC. However I would still like some advice on using these devices in Canada/US on 110v.
Cheers

Most normal laptops have dual voltage power supplies accepting anything from 100 to 240V, so I'd hope the EeePC was the same, but it's not listed on their spec chart...0

Looks standard, you'll be fine, just make sure you take a plug adapter!0

My eee has a multi plug with 2 and 3 pins built in and accepts 100-250v input
