Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

I have a friend who's working two jobs and Avon is her third, she's asked Avon for help about what to do about tax and hasn't been given any solid advice. All jobs will keep her in the same tax bracket but is it worth her opening a small limited co to put her avon through or is it just too much hassle and she should just continue to declare taxable earnings to the tax dept?
Many thanks for any help ?
Am deffo no tax expert but wouldn't think that it's worth setting up a Ltd. co. just to do Avon (not unless she's going to earn megabucks).
As far as I know, Avon treat you as self-employed i.e. won't get involved re. tax. If your friend is worried, then best thing is to just ring her local tax office and they'll advise what to do.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Incidentally, for less than £10 from Vistaprint I got the self-inking address stamp, address labels, postcards (good for ad hoc notes/canvassing), calling cards and a T-shirt - all with your own designed logos, name and contact details!:j

don't forget to go through Quidco for £5 cashback for Vistaprint. It was originally £6 but gone down lately. I have put 3 orders, even though it says one per new customer, and has paid out on each one.I'm not complaining! Covers postage costs.

I'm there for my team, although they know if they call or text after 7pm I may not answer straight away because of DS, but will reply as soon as I see the text or missed call, but it if is late ie 11pm, will contact them the next day.
And my SL is brill, she doesn't always reply straight away either having 2 children under 5, but she does always get back to me.0 -
Just got to let you know, bought some beautiful Christmassy organza bags from ebay recently. Plan to wrap a small gift in tissue paper and pop in one of these for my regulars (not high spenders). Gift will only be worth a pound or two but the presentation will make it look gorgeous.

got a question about vistaprint.on those things where it says company name obviously one can't put anything so do the goods arrive with company name printed and blank underneath or will company name be omitted?0
-
Good question - they just omit the fields you leave blank. Although it says Company name, you can put anything you like as long as it doesn't have too many characters - same with all the other fields.
