this same customer has ordered the new spectralipstick, but have promised her will make sure there are instructions, even if I just photocopy the page with instructions for her.

Do a search for Avon on you tube as they have their own page including application methods, definitely for the spectralash & lippy but not sure on the eye shadow.

I've still got a load of C8s but haven't chance to get the info just now.

    Hi Ladies

this is a big ask but hoping someone can help me out. One of my first customers has just told me that when she ordered the eye shadow from C8 it didn't come with instructions on how to use it, but it had them in the book. Does anyone still have C8, and could you give me the instructions please? It was page 33, product number 14274 the violet sky eye shadow.

    Thanks in advance.
I have a book 8 somewhere I will get back to you unless someone beats me to it

    Step 1
Apply the cream highlighter to the whole eye lid. This will really help your eyeshadow to stay put.

    Step 2
Sweep the base shadow ( pale violet ) over the lower lid and use the contour shadow ( deeper violet ) along the crease, blending gently outwards in the v-shape for instant glamour.

    Hope that helps hun ;)

I just got an email from my ASM telling me not to give my regular customers the Smart Womens Secret booklet, but it is too late I have already included it with their brochures. I thought the free nail varnish would be a good incentive to buy. What did everyone else do with theirs?

Thank you Karen, Lozza and BusyB. I will write down the instructions, find the link for the Avon website and pass to my customer. Hopefully it is not too late and she hasn't ditched the eyeshadow.

hello, why did you ASM tell you not to give it to your regulars? I haven't been giving it to anyone. Been using it to order from if anyone orders anything from it and then choosing a nail varnish that I think would suit them. Will give to them as a free gift. ;)

I gave mine to my customers, no one has ordered from it though, but i have managed to do some creative ordering and bagged myself a few FREE nail varnishes. I have my order saved online and there hasnt been a problem with it all the order numbers work.

I never got told what to do with it at all!!! So I wanted to do my "catch up" territory in one go and didn't have enough brochures, they don't really buy anyway so thought this might entice them, put them in a few houses to finish the round off with a little sample of lipstick. Still didn't order but most took the sample!!!

Customers are cheeky like that, don't you think. They take the free sample and put the book back out. I would at least buy 1 product to make myself feel better for taking the sample.

Does anyone know why some of my customers put their books back out with no order form? What do they do with it? It doesn't have their information, it has a pay as you go number, which I can lose at any time, and a made up email address for Avon, which is no use to anyone, and I have stopped putting my address on it... what do they gain from the order form?
