Really annoyed! I took up an avon phone offer, after being assured that it was different than Golden Offer pack in HT12. Just checked my lastest invoice online and guess what, its the same offer. I appreciate its a really good offer but only if your customers are likely to buy the products. I'm afraid mine will be returned.
  • Morning all, glad to see that some people's campaigns are picking up.

I was left a voice message last night from my only guy customer. He was wondering when I was going to collect the catalogue as he has an order. Must say I am surprised as there really isn't that much in it for guys and he ordered 2 aftershaves last time and I forgot to put in his sample last time! Anyway, hope it will be a good amount.

I was going to put out more cats tonight but I am supposed to go out at 6pm to pick my new carpet (remember the flood?) and the electrician is coming straight after my work (5pm) to fit our new cooker. I really should go out tonight with them as my order is due on Friday and I am still sitting on £260 and there are a few stragglers too. Am worried I won't have time tonight to do them, I don't even have them prepared. Have been so busy stripping walls to get ready for the plasterer on Monday:rolleyes: I guess I could try and prepare them at lunch. I also have that order sitting for the girl that didn't put an address, name or telephone number too, might just have to send it back if she doesn't get in touch when I drop off the cats this evening.

How is everyone else getting on, any more orders? This campaign seems to be a downer for most of us, so at least we know we're not alone:beer:

Really annoyed, drop DS at childminders, got a different bus so I could be home in time for Avon delivery, thought quickly pop to Boots to get nappies for DS. Told the SA wanted to pay with points, Manager came over and was hovering over the till, don't know why, he was saying something and the SA said yes, its £16, and he was looking at my points, and I said, I want to pay with points. She said, its exactly £16.07, I said I know, I was saving them to get the nappies. Then she went all weird on me, which is strange as I have known her for the last 20 months.

Don't know if it was the number of points on my card, which were all earned legitimately? Or something flagged on the system.

Anyway, I digress, because of delay in shop, got to bottom of my road, could see great big white van outside my house, oh no, Avon courier, I can't run in high boots, so walking as fast as I can carrying 2 mega packets of nappies and just as I get near, he gets in van and drives off.!!!!!!!!Agggggggggggghhh

I rang depot straight away, said he has just left my house, I saw him drive round the corner and she said, he hasn't phoned in yet. I know! I just saw him drive round the corner. Was hoping she would ring his mobile and get him to come back....so am going to call again, as now been half an hour and see where he has left them.

Have no car, so have to hump one at a time back to my house.

Am I the only one on C11? I have just finished C10, did ok, got 4 orders for it, which is better than I normally do and they bought stuff that I make money on.

Have 2 orders for C11 already but nothing that I will make money on.

Pants, wish I hadn't gone for nappies now.
  • aureol212 - LMAO, it may sound crappy, but your story made me laugh! I needed that.:D
I put in my order for C10 on Friday so I will then be on C11. Can't wait, maybe next campaign will be better!
I really hope you can get the courier to come back, it would be a pain if you have to collect it from somewhere. I know the feeling about humphing it back to the house. I get mine delivered to work and it'a right pain having to get it home.

Well, got most of my orders in now, only a few straggler books and whatever we get from OH round. I doubt we'll have enough to put through £250 on his account (to qualify for the most samples) and £148 on mine to get HOV. May just have to settle for £148 on each account. I thought C10 has some great offers in, the eye cream is fantastic value, as is all the 99p stuff and the 10 for £10 set too!

Mind you - it doesn't help that a lot of my regulars are on holiday!

Summer- Caitlin, no offence taken, just read back on post and it is humorous. :-)
Pleased that I cheered you up as you sound so down at the moment.

Well he did leave boxes at next street, where the lady just wants to get rid of me as quickly as possible but to be fair think she has a little un. And she is not the lady with the poster in the Newsagent, so there are 3 of us in the area, so far....

Well its good exercise for fatty me humping 2 boxes uphill and then downhill....shame raining so wearing high boots not fitflops.

Just looking through my orders and some of the stuff is smaller than it looks in brochure and I have ordered stuff that I am not even sure why I did, so that is going back. Got my 10 for £10, this will make handy gifts for customers.
  • I am yet to have a campaign where I don't send stuff back that I ordered for myself. Quite a lot of the times it does look smaller than in the cat and worse the colours don't quite match up. Really struggling with finding a foundation colour that I like. Started off with Ideal Shade Creamy Beige, hated the consistency, too thin and the colour was too pale. Then went on to Anew foundation in Almond, didn't like the colour and thought the coverage wasn't good, it came off within a couple of hours on me. Now am on to Perfectwear and luckily have received a few samples so have been using the different shades. Think I have settled on medium beige. Coverage is excellent and it does stay put!

I might order the 10 for £10, but I think I have quite a few gifts ordered with the daily deals.

Did anyone else get the email about the pack of 24 things. It said to order now, but when I went to do so, it said I couldn't order in this campaign. Do I have to wait until C13?

I got the email but couldn't afford to buy it so didn't even look at that. Sorry. Maybe you will be able to order once your C11 is live?

Hi ya, the avon lady will be coming today . i used to do Avon but i left a couple of months ago as my territory was not good, they were all retired and didnt bother.
can anyone give my tips for getting more orders in.... im determined, i want it to work this time....
i cant wait for the area manager to come to give me books and staff to get me started. !!
by the way, did anyone know that after a couple of months being inactive they take you out of the system ( i used to order online). that was what happenned, and the reason why she is coming today, i hope i dont have to pay £15 in my first 2 orders, cos i've already paid that a couple of months ago.
  • Hi I got signed up yesterday and was given a territory even though i said I'd prefer just family and friends. Been out this morning and got so far down one road and someone came to the door and showed me a book and said someone already does round here. I had put 13 books out before I got to that particular house. Didnt bother doing anymore. It is so disheartening.
