Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

Well got about £125 in orders for C5 so far. Still got books to deliver and collect so going to deliver them on Monday. People seem to really like the 'spend £15 and get a free handbag' offer in C5 (so do I coz they are ordering at least £15):D
Two relatives took books into work with them this time so hoping to get some extra orders.
Have a good day all0 -
Everyone is being really helpful so far, thank you.
However it makes me want to ask more questions! Do you tend to do a 'customer incentive/offer' each time you send your books or do you only do it once in a while? I don't want to seem desperate for sales/customers but I still want some good sales each time?
Also as this is my first time - I am doing Camp 5 but actually using Camp 4 brochures because apparently they'd ran out of number 5?! I was given 40 free for my first round and now have only been given 20... is this the norm?0 -

I only do incentives now and then, and we SL's only get re-imbursed for 40 books in total, this is split over the first 2 campaigns if you are given more as i always do that is at our cost.0 -

I'm wondering, whats a realistic amount of commission to make from Avon per month? assuming like me you work full time and would do this in the evenings and weekends during spare time? They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

I've only done one campaign so far - I too work full-time, had help from partner who also works full-time at 56 hours a week. We managed to get £310 of orders this time, so commission of about £78ish, plus the extra we made from back/forward ordering so have made about £100 this time. It didn't take very long so we're hoping to get about that every 3 weeks. It would depend on how many houses you had, and whether a lot of family/friends/colleagues ordered to I guess.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Thanks, so not not great rewards then but not bad considering the hours you put in?They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

Definately been worth it for us, especially since that was from our first campaign, so hopefully the orders will go up as people come to know and trust us. If you only count the time we've spent delivering/collecting brochures, preparing them etc (not the time spent looking through the books to see what good offers to suggest to people, as I do that while looking for myself lol!) then we've probably made about £10 an hour. It is definately enough extra money for us, in order to save for a new kitchen and then getting married, rather than it being to live off.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

It's a lot easier than Betterware, less hours for more orders, more customers etc. and a lot more fun so definitely worth it.0
