  • I'v just looked at the online offers, and there is a 'Tasha , Bag & Foundation set' for £3.50. Does anyone remember Tasha - it's obviously before my time (15 months)? I'm also a bit mystified by what it apparently contains (& I quote):-

Christmas Cracker – Tasha, Bag & Foundation Set

    Price £3.50

    Set contains:

    Tasha Eau de Toilette Spray
Anew Beauty Age-Transforming Foundation SPF15 in Nude, Warmest Beige and Almond
Need to find Shine Cosmetics Bag??
    Nail Experts Healthy Shine

The foundations have to be samples, don't they? Anyway, I've ordered it, so I'll let you know :D

Ellie, they don't necessarily have to be samples - they've been trying to palm that anew foundation on people for months! It is quite nice actually, even on younger skin!

There's quite a bit of stuff that's been coming up again and again that they obviously want shot of - the cynthia rowley bags for example. 30p each in the Corby shop and they've got two brushes in them :D

Tasha I remember from when I was a kid. Don't remember what it smelt like but it's a classic sort, it was around the same time as occur and nightmusk and all those,

The shine cosmetics bag is quite small, a kind of bronze colour metallic bag with a weird buckle one end, mine had a clear lip gloss and a grape eyeshadow pen in, but not sure if these will.

Lets face it, at that price I'm sure you can palm it all off on people - even if you do a lucky dip for a quid a go you'll double your money! It wasn't on my internet offers when I placed my order last night though :(

Minigirl, ask your Sl or ASM and they should help - my girls know I've almost always got spare backorder books if they need them, but I can usually scrounge the current brochure off the ASM for them too if I need to!

Had FOUR people not pay their bills this campaign  'Tis the season to rip Avon off, I guess.

i have £11.25 in returns ive entered on credits, and my balance is showing £0.00 on the homepage as i paid rest of my bill promptly.... but i just had a payment reminder email for the £11.25 saying if i dont pay my next order may be held?! Is this normal? Should i ignore it?

Lyns, it's one item of ID with name and address, if they're young or they've lived in their house less than 2 years it's a peice of photo ID as well, but I always ask for 2 forms of ID as it can help them get a better credit limit.

Never heard from her again. I've heard rumours from other reps though. It is so annoying. One of the non-payers is a trainee sales leader  but I've spoken to head office about her now. The frustrating thing is when people just ignore you when you call... like I'm calling for my own benefit  I really couldn't care if they wreck their credit ratings and end up with bailiffs over a few measly quid. After all, this isn't someone whose got into debt through no fault of their own, it's someone who's defrauding Avon. Now I send one 'friendly' text, follow it the day after with a 'business-like' message, then send a letter in the post telling them their avon account is suspended and to contact credit control. I'm not responsible for debt collection! Although it is flipping annoying that my commission will be really low this campaign because they'll reclaim for the non-payers. Oh well.

Johanne, have you submitted your credits yet? it takes the email system a little while to catch up. Your order won't be held over £11 anyway, there's a £30 buffer. ;)

    Thanks Silver.

Well my new recruit isn't coming today after all. I think when I said 3-5pm maybe the boyfriend told her she could come at 5, as that's when she finishes work! She still says she wants to do it though. Plus my sister in law has put on her Facebook status "Anyone wanna do Avon, Sis-In-Law is now recruiting"! Got 2 possible leads from that!

Re. the training thing, I just need to chill and bide my time.

Hey! I just noticed I've got 2 MSE stars!

  • Hi guys xx

Need to read & catch up, but this is just a quickie. My order came yesterday, first chance I've had to sort it now. My SL told me wrong code for the Rep's starter kit & I've order the Rep's Bag (code 08342) instead of the Starter Kit for new reps (code 69401). I've just realised that they weren't the same when I found I'd got NO free samples & that's a !!!!!! cos was looking forward to all the samples & a customer had ordered Ungaro perfume, so if it was the same was gonna give her the one outta the kit.

Anyways, my quickie question is - can I send the bag back & order the starter kit on my next order? Just a bit concerned that it's only allowed for 'new' reps.

    Ta in advance xx

New territory didn't pan out too well. Dropped books to nearly 125 houses, did get three orders, but then found out that 100 of them are already covered by someone else, who left a rather rude voicemail on my phone!

Bit annoyed really, as I have an email from ASM telling me that the area is free, and it's obviously not. To be honest it was more than I wanted anyway, but was a bit upset by the message, as it would have been nice to make friends with other rep, so we would have someone nearby if ever needed order forms, brochures, etc.

Btw, has anyone had any trouble with Flissys? I asked to join back in October and got an automatic email, saying they'd send one when my account was activated, but heard nothing. Sent an email asking if there was an issue a week ago and no response. Also tried joining with another email address but haven't even been sent the automatic email!
