thanks i didnt think they were. but usually i look straight past them. they should sell them in HT!...and definately for less than £4 and they should sell cotton buds and cotton pads in the books for customers! naughty avon. i might email them and suggest that!

i am on the verge of giving up on this, its a waste of time. i have 80 houses and have got 53 quid of orders from half of it so far for C01 and now just realised i have to buy the next lot of brochures which is going to cost me nearly 10quid. im not making anything as i got paid 10quid for my first campaign and i cant seem to change that, i havent any spare brochures to put in any shops or anything. everyone i speak to says they just cant afford it, which i dont blame them as i wouldnt either. any suggestions before i pull the plug?

Hi donefor - chin up hon.

I don't know how long you've been a rep, but having just completed 18 months I do know how you feel.

The first couple of campaigns you don't feel as though you will ever make any money, but it does come good after a while. Have you considered taking on more territory? I started with one road (140 houses of which only about 20 wanted cats). I then upped this and do 6 roads now - total of about 350 houses and only about 60 of these order (and not always every time). I split this territory into 2 and only order 40 books which I use twice.

C01 is going to be a small order as I refuse to market to clients so close to Christmas. There's always the danger that something will be OOS and with delivery to clients on 23rd Dec they would have no time to buy elsewhere. No money for me on that campaign.

C02 might be slightly better, but still don't think I'll start making again until C03 at least. I'm a gardener by trade and do this to supplement my income and at this time of year every penny counts!

Hope you manage to work something out.

coxy11 - thank you for talking so much sense regarding C01. My SL AND ASM seem to think it doesn't matter with it being so close to christmas- they're all Sell, sell sell! Sometimes I have to wonoder..... but I've still given books out, just to test the water, and I had some samples over from an earlier campaign so I've put little samples in the bags as well. Going out in my lunch hour to but some choccies and Ill put some choccies in bags for the next road.
RE: territory - I got given 6 roads automatically as my territory. I have to re-canvass in the new year obv, but I didn't know there was an option? Shos hw much I do actually know about Avon eh?
Delivery day today 6 boxes coming my way! and the OH is in so he can carry them all up the stairs for me ( we live on the second floor)

My C1 has been rubbish. Haven't even canvassed my territory with the books. I think I will barely make MOV and that is only because it is lowered. Have had 3 regulars give me xmas cards and say see you in New Year. So they don't want C2 either. Maybe in New Year for backordering.

Has anyone had any info on whether they've lowered the HOV or not? I did read back through the thread but couldn't find anything? I've even been through my messages but no joy there either.....

Not bothering with C1 , delivery is on 23rd December, why cant they just miss out a campaign earlier in the year, its complete madness

Hi everyone...... feeling a bit de movitated myselve at the moment not as a rep but as a sales leader. I now only have two reps ordering.... the other four I had three never put an order in and one had debt...... feel so down about it I put in so much time and effort with these people too.

Anyway just spoken to my ASM about C! and C2....so worried about them being so close..... my delivery for C1 is 29th December so not to bad...... but I don't expect to make much.

Anyway I'll stop maoning on.....
