Audio CD for car stereo.

My brother gave me a cd that he burned for me. It works fine in my car stereo.

I burned 2 audio cd's (1 in nero, 1 in wmp) and neither of them work. The file types look the same when i view them on my pc. Is there something I need to look out for?

When you view the cd in your computer post-burn, do you get a bunch of .cda files (i.e did it burn as an Audio CD, not a data CD?)

If yes, then it's possibly just that your CD player in the car is picky about the types of CD-R that it reads. Burning at a slower speed can help, but not always.

Also, as long as you own the music you are copying to another disc, you aren't breaking the law.
