Don't use 999 inks

my first order from 999 inks was spot on ordered one afternoon received the next morning,my second order was late and i had ordered some blank discs which i was told i would receive in a following shipment as they were out of stock, totally forgot about the discs, and went on to order some more ink,
this was over 4 weeks ago i have not received the ink or the discs missing from my second order,
they do not reply to emails or answer phone calls they have taken £90 from me and i have nothing to show for it i am now going to have to take legal action to get it back.
so you have been warned it seems they rope customers in by giving a good service the first time you order the its f**k you with following orders.
i will go back to ordering from viking, twice the price but no hassle.
stay well clear of 999 inks.

if you have paid with credit card/debit card then raise the issue with your bank to do a charge back

for refilling inks i have just got refill ink kits off ebay £5 which give ne 3 ink refills which would have cost me £24 if i had got remaunfactured cartridges from elsehwre

Ordered printer inks on 10 Oct 2008. The money left my account four days later, but ten days later no ink has arrived, despite a statement on the 999inks site saying they guarantee free first class next day delivery.

I have had no email or call to say the items are out of stock or that there is a problem with the order or delivery in any way

Have made several calls to 999inks, but all calls go to voicemail and no one returns my calls. Have emailed twice but no response.

Have reported 999inks to trading standards and intend to pursue this further until they are shut down.

Have also read a review elsewhere stating that ink bought from this company ruined someone's printer.
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY - THIS SITE IS A SCAM.
  • I purchased a full set of ink cartridges for my Brother DCP-130C printer from these 'jokes' 4 weeks ago as I was attracted by the price and their 'next day' delievery service. First of all the 'next day delievery' turned out to be more like "when we can be bothered to send them to you", I finally got mine a week after I ordered, even though they take the money out of your account straight away! Three days ago the original cartridges in my printer finally ran out but I was fine with this as I knew that I had replacement ones, how wrong was I. When I took one of the 999 cartridges out of the packaging and compared them to the original one, I noticed that they were completely different shape and design. I phoned up '999 Inks' and after being kept om hold for about 20 minutes I was told by the lady on the other end of the phone that everything would be ok. She also said that she would call me back in 10 minutes to see if everything was ok. Unfortunately, this ten minutes turned out to be 2 hours. Everything seemed to working fine until yesterday when I noticed that documents coming out of my printer were coming out in the wrong colour or completely faded. And after taking one of the cartridges out I have now found that they are leaking into my printer. I have phoned them back and when I told them I was not happy, I was told that someone from their technical department would call me back by 3.30pm, but Im not holding my breath!

If you look up the word "compatible" in the dictionary it has the following meaning, "ABLE TO WORK SUCCESSFULLY WITH SOMETHING" clearly in the case of 99 Ink Cartridges this is not the case. If anyone reads this review and is thinking of using this company, please for the love of god stay well clear. As you will end up very dissapointed and angry at the service and products that you get from them.

What is the product like? I'm trying to get hold of dell compatible inks but so far have wasted time and money.

OP thanks for the warning and sorry for your predicament.

svp are good, although sometimes you may have to return faulty products, but they have a second to none return policy and handling procedures.

Basically, they are good on price, excellent on support when things dont go well (which can happen........) and a safe bet in the long run (unless you must have something that must work on delivery always)

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that
