  • lol - think so Louise! Can't remember if I said earlier but I've also been asked to do Presentation Skills and Telephone Techniques as one off sessions!!!!

Email from Lenny - I know he's written to some of us (I recognise a couple of the email addys), but I can't see it mentioned earlier

"Well I cant tell you where I am at the moment but its warm. I am growing a beard because water whilst is not scarce, time in my rack is, so any time I can gain by not doing certain things such as washing and shaving all adds up. Its all white though and I think I look like my dad but with a bigger belly and slightly more hair :). OH is doing ok but is getting bouts of sickness in the morning but they have gone come afternoon time. Young Jack Nelson is being a good lad by helping her off the settee when she wants to stand up, he does the hoovering and helps her with the shopping bags. Anyway I'm off now (and I don't mean the smell), although my feet strangely smell like newly mowed grass with a tinge of wet soil???? Go figure. Say hello on the chat thread for me. Will write again soon. Len x "

I can see this teaching lark taking over your life K, just like it did with mine:D I started teaching 2 hours a week and the rest as they say is history. Cant see me being anything else than a teacher in one form or another.;)

If you need any help with anything at all just give me a shout.

  • that's lovely of you Louise.

I think I'd like it to be something I could develop, although I'd prefer it to be mostly during the day, I don't want to be doing loads of evening stuff. The press release/media handling/presentation skills/telephone technique sessions will all be on a Monday 10- 1pm, because I was asked when I'd like to do them. The cookery courses are all in the evenings so this term I'll be out 1 night but in the Jan - March term i'll be out 2 nights a week teaching, with one of those also being a day when I'm in the office for 4.5 hours.

Let's hope I do end up being able to do it - I'm in quite deep now!

Oooooooooooh, just remembered that Pigsback are giving 1000 points for any HotelClub booking so I've sent them my booking details - that means that's the equivalent of 1 night now only costing £7!! :rotfl:
