broken pc

hi guy ! im trying to fix mate pc :mad: .i would do a full recovery but i have only got a recovery floppy she cant find her discs! i can get to the safe mode page and start in normal mode. if i click on normal mode it seems to start to load for a second then nowt happens after that? if i start it in safe mode starts to load ,some of the driver load like this

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\windows\system32drivers\(and so on)sys
then it stops at
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\windows\system32drivers\agpcpq.sys
can any 1 help

  • Has sumone tried to update some drivers if so you could try a driver roll back.

  • On desktop press windows key and the pause/break button
    Go to the hardware tab and press device manager then find the device you installed new drivers for.
    Right click go to propties then go to driver.
    Then select option to roll back driver.

    have you got different options for safe mode? I think you can choose minimal startup in safe mode cant you and continue from there.
    I seem to remember an interactive safe mode (not sure if it was XP though)where you can accept or disallow each driver,if you can get to that,you could allow until it crashes then note down the bad driver and disallow it the next time.
