I'm afraid I do mean not using them . It's the only way to negotiate lower repayments so that you can afford to pay your bills and feed yourself. Your budget should start with essentials (Mortgage/Rent, Council Tax etc) through Gas/Elec/Food and then on to non essentials like TV that you cut to minimum. What you have left goes on debt repayment.
If you pay your debts before you feed yourselves, you'll NEVER get out of this mess. CAB and others will help you with this. You need to GIVE UP credit and negotiate lower repayments and freezing of interest so you can go forwards instead of backwards.
Hope that makes sense - I know you'd rather not hear it.;)0 -

A thought on shopping - could you do it online at, say Tesco? Cos Sainsbury's are very expensive as you know. I know you'd pay a delivery charge, but I think you'd save more than the cost of that, plus it stops impulse buying! DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Yeah I have looked at tesco but cant seem to find any food for people with intolerances although there was that suggestion earlier about getting prescriptions. I could combine the two....Gone from 5 credit cards  to 3 thanks too MSE

They do gluten free and stuff like that, I've seen it in the shop.

Old style is the way to go - 'home made' and 'made from scratch' are the only ways to save money on food AND eat better. Easy if one of you is staying home with children or working part-time, needs more thought and planning if you're both working full-time, IMO.0
