Hi,
I am separating from not so (D)H.
At the mo my childminding will not enable me to rent a place and I have seen somewhere ideal for kids school etc.
Basically been offered job I would love to take. Full time.
£21000 salary
2 kids
rent £900 though LHA is about £800ish
No disabilities etc.
2007-2008 salary was £7245 gross
Childcare with this job would be a massive £320 per week
Husband couldn't pay maintenance until our house is sold due to massive mortgage.
Just been through it on entitledto.co.uk and they are saying i would get

LHA rates change every month so please return to the calculator regularly to check your entitlementOur calculation is based on you receiving £183.75 from tax credits. Total Entitlements£20,208.04£387.55 weekly
Would I really get that much? I thought you couldn't get HB unless you earned less than £16000.
If this is right I would take the job tomorrow.
HOWEVER...I spoke to the tax credits people today and they told me I would get £269 per week. V confused. numbers seem random.

think there is something wrong with the HB - with a LHA of £800 per month and salary of £21k + tax credits I think the payment is around £1 per week. someone better at this will no doubt be along!0

I doubt with a 21K wage would you get very little in if anything in either HB and council tax help.
The only reason these figures have come up is because you have put in last years wage details.
You should get some help with child care.
As Caz3121 there should be someone along who has better knowledge then us.
