Abbey changes to t & c

Just got a letter regarding my Abbey cc (interest free for 12 months) and changes to the T&C.
The main one that im concerned about is 8.4 which now reads:
"If we change the interest rates which apply toyour account we will give you at least 7 days notice of the change". This has changed from 30 days.
Could they get rid of the 0% i am on at the moment and introduce an interest rate? leaving me 7 days to find something else?

No this refers to the standard variable rate that they can change as they wish.
The 0% is a promotion and this will not be removed before the end of the promotional period unless you break the Terms and Conditions.0 -
The main one that looks like making them money is the dormant account charge.
I imagine most stoozers sign up for a card, do the BT/purchases for 12 months, pay it off, and then leave the card for a while before looking for a new offer from them. I wonder how many will have forgotten about the dormancy charge after 18 months of having the card.0
