Pls help-don't know what else to do :(

I have macafee running on the laptop, today i logged on to find somehow a flashing yellow triangle with a exclamation mark in it to tell my puters slowed down due to possible spy/adware on it. I know this is not genuine just by the spelling mistakes on the note.
The other thing it does is to keep opening loads of explorer windows (i use mozilla) & give me this, is this genuine??:

Pls pls help me get rid of it, i have tried a full scan, but its still there....any help is much appreciated, i am usually so careful & this is really annoying me

download avast http://www.avast.com/
its free and brilliant and run a scan but it should pick it up automatically
then go to control panel and add remove programs and get rid of macaffee it is not very good in my opinion

Only used it as it came free with the laptop.....!, but thanks for getting back so fast, is that the only one i should use? Thanks!

it works on my laptop
if you can reboot to safe-mode it will prevent program running whilst you complete scan etc

You need to use Malwarebytes to remove this infection.

Forget about changing your AntiVirus solution for now.

Will the malewarebytes help to unjack it??!!, this downloaded quite fast. Anything i else i can do?thanks in advance!

Malwarebytes will help unjack it.

I would run an online scan with something like Kaspersky - this does not remove files so it is safe.

Please do a scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner

Note: If you are using Windows Vista, open your browser by right-clicking on its icon and select 'Run as administrator' to perform this scan.

Click on the Accept button and install any components it needs.

• The program will install and then begin downloading the latest definition files.
• After the files have been downloaded on the left side of the page in the Scan section select My Computer
• This will start the program and scan your system.
• The scan will take a while, so be patient and let it run.
• Once the scan is complete, click on View scan report
• Now, click on the Save Report as button.
• Save the file to your desktop.
• Copy and paste that information in your next post.

Malwarebytes should do it, ignore the overkill online scanners for the moment.
