  • It's legit everyone, it doesn't mention payment on the site because you don't get paid until you've reached 100 reviews. But it's not a scam :)
    £100 for Christmas challenge: £3/£100 so far! :o
  • you only get told about being paid when you have done the 100 reviews and emailed them.

    i have only been reviewing whilst my daughter has her afternoon nap and sometimes in the evenings too for a short while. i'm not sure exactly how long i have spent doing it but in the space of 4 afternoon naps i now have over £100!

    mizzy2 i didn't realise that, in the email they sent me with all the reviewer contract it said to spread the word and that a lot of people have found facebook useful for this so i though it would be ok on here[/quote]

    Its just in one of the weekly emails we got it said they had had an enormous amount of new members and were finding it a slog to get through checking all their reviews. I think they just mean tell a few friends when they say referrals.
  • Well Ive just submitted my first review on the site, although it takes an age to upload and move from page to page, it's a great site, and I found it really easy to wax lyrical, so here's hoping. Will try and do a couple more thisafternoon in my tea break and aim for that 10 review mark by tomorrow! Here's hoping this is a genuine site.
    Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T
  • Just saw another link to this message from Helphound - how disappointing.

    I signed up to helphound last week, i have done about 20 reviews so far, when i have the time (currently decorating house before i start new job next week) And i received an email today saying they are paying everybody regardless of if they've reached 100 so i sent my details off to get paid for the small amount i have done :o

    Email i received;
    To coincide with the huge upgrade of the community which goes live this morning, we are suspending the current reviewer and pointer contract at 5pm today, Monday 13th October. We will be paying everybody for the number of reviews they have contributed at that time, even if they have not reached the 'magic 100'.
    Make sure you e-mail us for approval to be paid, at the same time letting us have your sort code and account number for a transfer, or your address for a cheque (those of you already in the payments system won’t need to email).
    Tina will be doing the calculations in the usual way and payments will be made as soon as possible during this coming week. Payments will include those for referrals where the referred person has completed 100 reviews which are 'approved'.
    Thank you for all your great reviews. We will be letting you know about more ways for you to help us in the coming weeks and a great way for you to save money as well – we’ll contact you just as soon as these come online.

    So does that mean "thanks for your efforts, our site is now ranking quite highly on google so we're not paying anybody from this point forward as our site has enough content now"?

    Is that the end of paid reviews for them?

    Did they just pay people in the first instances to get a lot of new fresh unique content?

    Or what?
