Chrome help

Hi
I'm using Google Chrome but i can't get any youtube vids to play ( they load OK )

all works ok in IE7

have you got the latest updates/bugfixes. Quick google for the problem seems to be chromes flash plug in is a bit dodgy, read one place that they had video but no sound, some had sound and no video.

Theres the solution. Remember Chrome is in BETA so will have problems.

Can't say i've had any problems at all with Chrome. I do wonder if it's stealing my Firefox plugins though

I dont think it can run FF plugins.

Just tried it, no problems at all.
It would seem odd if YouTube didn't work as its a Google product/service.

The latest Chrome Release is 0.2.149.29, Click on the spanner and then 'About Chrome'

by the way i love it, (chrome) and have used it from day one.Although i hadn't tried many other browsers just IE and Opera

i just like the uncluttered layout
and the bookmark bar is soooo smooth (although what happens when i fill it up with folders ?)
sites seem to load quicker as well

For a new piece of software, it seems to be able to run every page i've tried- this strikes me as odd, as it must be getting it's plugins from somewhere

Grats on getting it working, I dont want to get into the big Chrome is great/Chrome is rubbish debate but....

Chrome is getting a lot of bad press on the techy sites I frequent.

Remember its in BETA (and going by Googles track record) and probably will be for a while. Which means its going to have problems at some point, BETA software always does thats why they have test phases.

Theres no Adblocking (Ads are what make google money), and there might not ever be that function.

Im a Firefox man myself, I havent and never will install Chrome on my machine. But its good to have a choice and use whatever your comfortable with.
