Hi, i'm trying to decide whether to buy the new concord carseat for 4-11 or the cybex solutions+ from kiddicare.com. Has anyone come across/used these brands before? or seem them anywhere cheaper?, any advice appreciated, thanks in advance

No one said it was gonna be easy!

I'm not sure about those particular car seat. But if you do find it cheaper elsewhereKiddicare will always price match. I got £90 off my travel system that way with them. Even if you see it on a website, I told them the web address and they looked it up and said I could have £90 off!!
Sorry I couldn't be any more help.0 -
To choose your car seat go down to your local library and get a copy of the "WHich?" magazine that has a report on children car seats. It will tell you what to look for in car seats and also show you which car seats are not as safe as the others. It also list car seats that you should definitely not buy because they are not safe. Photocopy the relavent pages then do a bit of surfing to see which shops sell them.
But I would advise that you go down to a shop like Mama&Papas/Mothercare/Halfords that will have a trained car seat fitter to make sure that the car seat fits with your car and to show you how to fit it properly. If you don't fit the seat properly then you child does not have the full protection.
I am currently in the process of getting a car seat for my son who is two. The seat I choose turned out to not fit my car and the shop assistant at Mama&Papas told me so.
Hope this helps.
While your there look though the Which? Magazine to see all those products that they do reports on.. to help you on choosing a good value & quality product that will not break down after 2mins.“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson

Kiddicare do do a carseat fitting service too. I am not sure if they have other stores but we go to the one in Peterborough. It is on the outskirts, free parking too.0
