Sainsburys Price Saver ends1st Oct Do What?

I have searched, there must be 100's of folk who are wondering what to do about the end of our nice cheap EDF/Sainsburys deal.

I've put my usage into Energy Help but they don't give the Price Saver as an option to compare. I can see that going on to the EDF standard is going to increase my bills by 50% (no surprise). But I used to be on Scot Power on-line and as it would appear that many on-line deals haven't increased prices recently, just how do I go about making sure I get the best deal?

Obviously I want to avoid any hike bigger than necessary but I also wonder if EDF will offer me competitve price just to keep me (and all the rest who got stopped in store last year) and while I want to act quickly I dont want to find out I cost myself more money by jumping too soon.

Your expert advice is appreciated.
