I need to put a damp proof course into a three bedroomed terraced property and wondered if anyone could give me an idea of the cost ? I am going to get some quotes, but just want to make sure that I am paying a fair price.

My daughter has just bought a 2 bed terraced and had to have the walls and the floors done. She was quoted £1650.00 to complete the work but decided they would do all the donkey work themselves. They removed the plaster from the walls and dug out the floors themselves(2) and the final bill was £1000.000

charlies_mum ,
buy the materials yourself for around about £600 from here

then get a local builder in to do the work . A days work for one man should not cost any more than £200
